People to People, located on W. Nyack Road in Nanuet, provides short-term help to Rockland residents who have fallen through the support system safety net. Often they are unemployed or the working poor or the elderly, living on small fixed incomes.
People to People provides food aid, clothing and other household items, personal care items and guidance with next-steps that people can take to ensure their economic independence. Personal care items, such as soap and shampoo, can take substantial amounts of a limited budget. Their purchase has to come behind the purchase of medication and food, yet their need is obvious.
We can help provide those items that help people feel good about themselves and the world!
LOOK THROUGH YOUR CABINETS AND DRAWERS FOR SAMPLE SIZE AND HOTEL TOILETRIES THAT BRING BACK PLEASANT MEMORIES FOR YOU, BUT CAN MEAN THE WORLD TO A PERSON IN NEED!
Please bring those items to Temple and deposit them in the carton marked for them. Be certain that items are unused and tightly closed!
They will be delivered to our Rockland county neighbors at People to People!
